We have been hearing a lot about ‘Red Lines’ in the context of institutional responses (or the lack thereof) to Isra-hell crossing certain unthinkable limits in its gen*side. But what about your own red lines? I know that in the last two years, many of us have made decisions to distance ourselves from people who have refused to take a stand for the Palestininan people, or even been apologists for Ira*el.Gaza has been a litmus test for our relationships; with our friends, neighbours, colleagues. It has been the litmus for test for who we follow on social media, who we buy our goods and services from, who we date even! And we’ve been saying, speak up now before it’s too late, before you are on the wrong side of history - because there will one day be a turning point, when the MAJORITY of people will side will Palestine, and supporting Isra*el with make you a social pariah - not the other way around.We are there now. Today is the fuckin day. No more red lines left to cross.And if you still haven’t spoken up, I’m not here to say ‘now’s your chance!!’ before you lose friends, sponsors, followers or whatever else matters to you.&nbsp;I’m telling you, you’ve LOST your final chance. It’s OVER. You made your choice - silence. And it was the wrong one. You failed.Y’all are cancelled, and don’t say we didn’t warn you.&nbsp;&nbsp; And now for the good bit! So, I think a lot of us were in this ‘waiting’ phase - we were waiting for people to wake up and move to the right side before we cancelled them. But now we don’t have to wait anymore, or give anymore chances. So this means we can be even more decisive, deliberate and conscious in who we spend our time with. Who we consider friends. Who we even like as human beings. Who we bother texting back. Who we meet for dinner. Who we allow access to our energy.&nbsp; Who we give our fucks to basically.This is the bit where we get to reclaim our energy, and replenish ourselves with meaningful, heart-led connections with people who give a shit about the same things we do. No more surface-level friendships of convenience. No more tolerating ‘differences of opinion’ for the sake of peace. No more engaging with people who you know don’t value humanity. This is your permission slip to cut off people who you do not align with. It’s not just allowed, it’s absolutely what we must do. Because that way, we can re-direct our energy to really fulfilling, deeply meaningful friendships and connections that help us on our path to collective empowerment, justice, love and freedom for all beings. Does anything else even matter?

Gaza has become the ultimate litmus test for our relationships. It's not just ok, but necessary, to cut ties with those who stay silent on Palestine.
