After a decade of personal and spiritual healing, academic research, and community work, I’ve created the Rising Sisterhood membership to guide Muslim women on a powerful journey back to their truth, and to personal and collective empowerment.
Here is an exclusive space and community to help YOU reclaim joy, confidence, freedom, and peace — without losing faith, culture, or our deep connection to Allah.
Together, we rise — through healing, truth-seeking, sisterhood, and divine remembrance.
Before we can rise, we must remember. Educate is where the Rising Sisterhood begins — with knowledge, truth, and unlearning. Through powerful masterclasses with Islamic feminist scholars, we will unravel patriarchal distortions, uncover our divine rights, and realign ourselves with the liberatory essence of Islam.
This pillar is about awakening to the truth that Islamic knowledge production has been dominated by male elites, with the result that women are not always treated fairly in Muslim legal tradition. The key here is that it is not only ok - but necessary - to question our scholarly traditions and investigate the possibility of practicing an Islam that is rooted in Quranic values of beauty, love, truth, justice and peace - and of course, women’s equality.
Empower is your invitation to journey inward. This is where deep transformation begins: by coming home to yourself, facing the shadows, and committing to healing the wounds left by patriarchal conditioning and trauma.
Through women’s circles, reflective exercises, and heart-led coaching, we learn to move beyond fear, shame, and people-pleasing — and into the fullness of our sovereignty. You’ll be supported to release old stories and reclaim your life as the creator of your own reality.
Topics we will cover will look like self-love and feminine embodiment, inner child healing and ancestral release, identity, boundaries, worth, and power, moving from survival mode to thriving.
Your wholeness is not something to earn — it’s something to remember.
We have been taught to fear, hide, or control our bodies. But our bodies are sacred — they hold memory, rhythm, intuition, and power. In Embody, we return to our sensual, cyclical, feminine nature. We drop out of the mind and into movement, breath, stillness, and flow.
You’ll be guided through gentle embodiment practices like womb awareness, cycle syncing, feminine yoga, somatic healing, and more. These sessions will reconnect you with your body as a spiritual teacher — not something to fix, but something to feel.
This pillar is also about decolonising our relationship to wellness, and reclaiming ancient ways of healing. We will be looking at the mind-body-spirit connection, womb cycle awareness, the seasons of a woman’s life, embodied movement and so much more.
‘Express’ gives women permission to use their voices to raise grievances, speak out against injustice, and shed light on the dark side of our community.
Women are held to standards of ‘politeness’ and ‘respect’ - which has allowed men (and women!) to perpetuate damaging patterns of behaviour and keep injustice and abuse hidden within the four walls of our homes. Silencing women has been the most powerful weapon of the patriarchy, enforced through notions of ‘shame’ and ‘honour’, which keep women fearful of raising their voices.
This is where the sisterhood meets to be REAL - no filter required here! Our monthly community forum which is a safe space to raise social issues that affect women: in their homes, their families, relationships/marriage, at work, in the wider community, on the streets.
We will be using creative practices to unleash and process anger and sadness, including writing, singing and poetry!
Elevate is the soul of the Rising Sisterhood — the return to Love, Beauty, Unity, and Truth. It’s where we meet the Divine Feminine in Islam, and awaken to our spiritual nature beyond the noise and pressure of the world.
Through sacred practices like dhikr, meditation, tasawwuf-inspired teachings, and connection to nature and the cosmos, this pillar holds the mystical thread of Tawhid — the oneness of all. You’ll be guided to root your power in divine connection and spiritual devotion.
Some of our practices will look at Esoteric and Heart-based Islamic spirituality, finding the Divine Feminine in Islam, prayer circles, Dhikr and remembrance practices and more.
Drop out of the Mind and into the Heart.
